I’ve read online (the many that have shown up) that the plot could center around the Lost Colony of Roanoke. I vot for that! These movies play with historical fact and lots of fiction. That’s a great combination in my opinion. They open the mind to new impossibilites, like Ben Gates said “people want to believe”.

Huh? So do you think that the 3rd film of National Treasure should have that Whatever Island as it’s story line? since Both the Fountain of Youth and Atlantis are ruled out by both Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and the Sequel of Journey to the Centre of the Earth, My sister and Father both think that the missing Island would be the thing to see on the Big Screen in 2011.
