And one may not put the blame on the Weinstein company for going to Bangkok to film: they first started to shoot in Shanghai with Chinese nationals as extras, but the Chinese apparatchiks (I should say evil communist mandarins) decided a few days later to cancel the authorization... Besides there is no historical bone of contention between Thailand and China. So yeap, the Thai-Chinese extras will hardly fuel any controversy.
