Like all previous comments, I have to agree that Ken & Ryu are the face of street fighter and there will be tons of disappointed fans. The neglect of other and BETTER characters for Chun-li is a big flaw. I know that Chun-li will bring tons of geeks and lonely souls to see this, but I think a great Ryu and Sagat story, or Ken and Ryu Story would pack more seats and satisfy more fans. Despite my theory, I hope to dear baby Jesus that they don’t mess this up.

OMG this trailer s**ks, it looks like the movie will too! Anyone who has played the game would know that Chun-Li is ASIAN!!! Kristin Kreuk annoys the hell out of me in Smallville and will undoubtedly ruin this too! Being a long time Street Fighter fan…. I am very disappointed….

I agree with SFan.
The names of Ken Masters and Ryu Hoshi have become synonymous with the Title “Street Fighter”. To think that this has been neglected and turned to the character of Chun-li, is a bit… odd. I don’t think that this movie will do well…
What is the reason for this?
Hollywood should know that if they just play it safe by centering on the origins of Ken & Ryu, the movie will soar (Not to say that this will not… but understand).

It doesn’t matter whether Ryu and Ken are in the movie. The movie is about Chun-Li and they weren’t really in her back story. I just hope its a good movie, it doesn’t have to fit everything I remember about the video game, as long as it’s entertaining with a good story line and good action scenes. It’s not a Street Fighter movie.

I’m stoked that they are making this movie although, to leave out Ryu and Ken could be a major flaw. I mean thy are the greatest they make SF – not that Chun-li isn’t good- all I’m saying is they’d better be in the movie more than 25 % of the time or it will fail.

THIS TRAILER WAS DESIGNED TO SEND THE MESSAGE THAT CHUN LI IS THE BIGGEST AND BADDEST STREET FIGHTER OF THEM ALL, LIKE ALL PROMOTIONS USUALLY DO. BUT PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH THE VIDEO GAMES, ANIME FILMS, AND SERIES KNOW THE REAL MAIN CHARACTERS ARE RYU AND KEN. SO TELL ME ONE THING . . . WHERE THE %*&!! ARE THEY IN THIS POSSIBLE FUTURE FAILURE!!
