As a child watching Land of the Lost, what I liked was that it was a show about a family, father and his two children, surviving in a land full of dinosaurs and other creatures. The movie has replaced Marshall’s children with assistants who have the same names as Marshall’s children. I will pass on this movie. They have ruined the one thing I liked about the original Land of the Lost, the family.

I’m only interested if they use the clunky stop-motion animation on the dinosaurs, and only show 3 sleestaks at a time! That would be really clever.

I think this may give a good movie. The last couple have been clunkers. I grew up with the TV show and loved it. I thought that Brendan Frasier would have been good for the role.

Psh. Who cares about Will Ferrell? You know what this movie REALLY needs? It should TOTALLY have Dr. Steel’s “Land of the Lost” song. It would definitely make the movie awesome.

Will Ferrell and his ilk are the bane of my existence! Can Hollywood, seriously, be dumbed down any further?

I’ve been waiting for a remake of this Saturday morning fave for many years… but this is not it! I doubt this film will be worth a $100,000 Bar (the Nestle candy bar that used to sponsor the show).
