The official title of the new Spider-Man movie (aka Spider-Man 4) has finally been revealed by Columbia Pictures: the film is titled the Amazing Spider-Man. We already have a few pictures:

Director Marc Webb and his crew are currently filming, the movie is shot entirely in 3D. Videos showing the behind the scenes have already popped up online:

The cast includes of the new Spider-Man includes Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The release date of the Amazing Spider-Man movie is set for July 3, 2012.

From what I heard the likely villain in the Amazing Spider-Man will be the Lizard played by Rhis Ifans:
