Another film we caught a promo trailer for was And Soon the Darkness, a really stylish film from director Marcos Efron that features two of the hottest babes in horror, Amber Heard (Mandy Lane, Zombieland, The Stepfather) and Odette Yustman (Cloverfield, The Unborn). Set in Argentina, the remake tells the story of two American girls on a bike-riding trip in a remote part of the country. Hands down, one of the coolest clips I saw at this week's AFM was for Jim Mickle's (Mulberry Street) epic vampire movie Stake Land. This afternoon we got our hands on the first two (one pretty amazing) still from the flick starring Danielle Harris, Kelly McGillis and Conor Paolo. In addition, we also got the first ever still from Joe Maggio's Bitter Feast.
