Director Christian Alvart’s upcoming movie release is Pandorum in September 2009. But we will also hear about him for an earlier movie he directed: Case 39. It’s an horror movie starring Renee Zellweger and Jodelle Ferland.

Plot:
“Case 39 is a horror film starring Renée Zellweger as social worker Emily Jenkins. Emily thinks she has seen it all until she meets her newest, most mysterious case, troubled 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland). Emily’s worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to kill Lilith, their only daughter. The plot of Case 39 does bring anything really new. But it’s surprising to see Renee Zellweger acting in this horror movie. So I must admit that I want to see how Case 39 plays out.
Strangely there is no word yet about the release date of Case 39. But Paramount is in charge of distributing it, so sooner or later Case 39 will hit theaters.
