Actor Channing Tatum just announced via his official twitter account that he’s joining the cast of Kingsman 2 The Golden Circle! He also shared a new teaser poster:

“The sequel will follow Eggsy’s transition into the modern-day gentleman spy.
Kingsman HQ was destroyed by the villain Poppy (Julianne Moore). So Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) joining forces with ‘Statesman’, their American counterpart.”
Will Channing Tatum play a friend or foe of Eggsy? From the poster tagline one can assume he will play an American but we can’t tell yet if he’s part of Stateman.
The sequel is directed by Matthew Vaughn. It will open in theaters on June 16, 2017.
