Christmas CarolTake a look to those high-res pictures of A Christmas Carol, the upcoming animated movie directed by Robert Zemeckis and withe voice of Jim Carrey as the old Scrooge:

Some of those pictures of A Christmas Carol make me think of the uncanny valley… The uncanny valley hypothesis holds that when robots and other facsimiles of humans (pictures, animation or else) look and act almost like actual humans, it causes a response of revulsion among human observers. They did put a lot of effort to make those characters look real, can’t really pinpoint it, but there is something missing…
