Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are bringing us Crank 2 High Voltage , the sequel to the previous Crank movie. And Jason Statham is reprising his role as hitman Chev Chelios. This time Jason Statham is definitely on high voltage: he’s literally chasing his heart! The movie is set for a release in April 2009.

Plot:
“Hitman Chev Chelios (Statham) launches himself on an electrifying chase through Los Angeles in pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered heart that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.” (Source: Wikipedia)

The pace of Crank 2 is as heartbreaking as in the first opus: I’ll need to make sure I took my beta-blockers before going to watch this movie in a theater!

The movie is anticipated to receive an R rating by the MPAA based on an interview with Amy Smart. She was photographed brandishing taped nipples and disclosed that her character Eve has become a pole dancer.

And the naughty boys and girls will be glad (I am) to know there will be another public sex scene with Jason Statham; this time taking place on a horse racing track.
