Why not continue with a newer knight rider season 2? Season 1 from 2008 was really good. I watched all the episodes in a couple days. Really loved it.

You must be too young to remember the original series. The is no replacement/substitute for Hasselhoff nor the voice of K.I.T.T. That’s why the attempt to bring the show back in 2008 tanked

The ONLY WAY a reboot or a reincarnation of Knight Rider works is if you bring back The Hoff as Michael Knight and William Daniels, the original voice of K.I.T.T. to reprise his role as well. I think it might just work with those two familiar characters returning. With out those two and maybe even without the original car, the movie/show flops. Trust me!!!

I can sorta see how the 2008 show flopped, I can see that it could have been better. But they didn’t give the show much of a chance to show it’s full potential before it got axed.

The actors weren’t bad (although, the FBI Agent was pointless), the plotlines were mildly good, and the intro and the modern spin on the music was fantastic.

And plus, the transforming: GENIUS! Being able to change shape and the type of car allowed KITT to be better at adapting to situations. Perhaps Attack Mode should have been renamed to Speed mode but other than that, just spectacular to watch.

I agree you need the hoff and william daniels a updated car as shown in 2008 but it was too much replaceing the entire cast and if the rumors are true a new film is coming hoff needs a bigger role in this

Why not have Hasselhoff star as Devin, kinda like a passing of the torch. Like how van Damme is doing for the new kickboxer film.
