Check out the first official trailer of Are You Here, the upcoming comedy movie starring Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, and Amy Poehler:

ARE YOU HERE
Plot:
“Two childhood best friends embark on a road trip back to their hometown after one of them learns he has inherited a large sum of money from his recently deceased estranged father.”

I used to like Zach Galifianakis, but well, he’s more or less playing the same kind of annoying character in every movie… I may still give a try to the film, but only to see Owen Wilson and Amy Poehler… definitely not for Zach Galifianakis.

The film is written and directed by Matthew Weiner. It will hit theaters on August 22, 2014.

Plot:
“The haunting story of THE GIVER centers on Jonas, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community.”

Judging from the trailer the film is a quite loose adaptation of the book it’s based on… but it still feels faithful to its spirit.
