Plot: “Set in the year 2154, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.”
Hard to differentiate a robot bureaucrat from a human one, isn’t it? Is this progress?
Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters – It looks like a New York City cab… The group take a taxi ride they’ll never forget in the chariot of damnation!
Plot: “In order to restore their dying safe haven, Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) and his friends embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to stop an ancient evil from rising.”
I’d rather walk than go in that cab of death!
There’s also a new featurette about the Greek mythology the film is based on:
Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters – Myths revealed!
The film will open in theaters on August 7, 2013. :)
You’ve probably heard by now that Batman and Superman, the two superhero icons from DC Comics, are set to share the big screen together in a new movie from Warner Bros. The film was announced at the Comic Con, and a kind of logo was even revealed:
Batman vs Superman
Here’s what Director Zack Snyder (who helmed Superman Man of Steel) said:
“The next film we’re making, we’re already in pre-production, comes out in summer of 2015 and it’s–we’re actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it’s–that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that’s happening.”
Director Zack Snyder
So the movie Batman vs Superman is actually the sequel to Man of Steel? And What about the cast? Henry Cavill is obviously returning as Superman. But Christian Bale said he wasn’t interesting in retruning as the Dark Knight. Who’s going to play the role of Batman then? Will Joseph Gordon-Levitt take over the role? Any suggestion maybe?
Anyway stay tuned with us for more details about the movie Batman vs Superman. :)
A new trailer of Believe, the new supernatural drama TV series from executive producers J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron, has been released online, it was first shown at the Comic Con:
Summary: “Levitation, telekinesis, the ability to control nature, even predict the future… since she was two years old, Bo has had gifts she could neither fully understand nor control. Raised by a small group known as the “True Believers,” the orphaned girl has been safeguarded from harmful outsiders who would use her forces for personal gain. But now that she is 10, her powers have become stronger, and the threat has grown more dangerous. With her life and future now in jeopardy, the “Believers” turn to the only person they see fit to be her full-time protector. That is, once they break him out of jail. Tate, a wrongfully imprisoned death row inmate who’s lost his will, is initially reluctant – until he witnesses one of her extraordinary abilities. Bo sees people for who they truly are… and who they may become. Tate and Bo begin their journey, one in which trust must be earned. Traveling from city to city, every place they stop and everyone they meet will be changed forever. But they’ll have to keep going to stay one step ahead of the sinister forces after Bo’s power… because it will take a miracle to keep them safe forever.”
The plot kind of reminds me of the movie Babylon AD.
Anyway, here’s an earlier trailer:
The cast of the TV series includes Johnny Sequoyah, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLauchlin, Sienna Guillory, Jamie Chung and Jake McLaughlin.

Thanks to Nickelodeon here’s a first official trailer for Book 2 of Legend of Korra, the awesome animated TV series
The Legend of Korra – Book 2: Spirits
Plot: “Book 2 takes place six months after the first twelve episodes. It will focus on the mystical ‘Spirit World’ and the history of the Avatar lineage and mythology. Unhappy and angry spirits begin to surface in the physical world. As the link between the two realms, Korra must not only keep the physical world safe from unearthly interlopers, but she must also learn what has provoked the spirits and restore balance between the spirit world and the physical world.”
From what I heard half of Book 2 will take place in Republic City and the other half will take place in other areas of the world. And two episodes will focus on Wan (voiced by Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead), the bender who becomes the first Avatar as a result of his attempts to balance the human and spirit worlds.
Season 2 of The Legend of Korra will premiere on Nickelodeon sometime in September 2013. :)

Wondering what WCKD stand for? Well, it’s the acronym of “World In Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department”, an organization originally formed to find a cure to a dangerous brain-eating plague.
