For those who don’t know about Jesus, don’t worry the chap won’t die or at least he won’t stay dead for long: he will indeed resurrect! Nope, yes he will come back from the dead but not as a zombie, he won’t crave brains.

The film is directed by Christopher Menaul and the cast includes Haaz Sleiman, Kelsey Grammer, Stephen Moyer, Emmanuelle Chriqui, John Rhys-Davies, Rufus Sewell, Klara Issova, Aneurin Barnard, Joe Doyle, Eoin Macken, Alexis Rodney, and Stephanie Leonidas.

Killing Jesus will premiere on the National Geographic Channel on March 29, 2015.

Watching this trailer was like being thrown back to the 1980’s and I loved it! Much action, pretty Asian girls, and Jean-Claude Van Damme kicking the hell out of baddies: the movie Pound of Flesh is going to be cult!

Besides Jean-Claude Van Damme, the cast also includes Darren Shahlavi, John Ralston, Aki Aleong, Andrew Ng, and Charlotte Peters.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
