The first official movie trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man, the upcoming reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, has been released online by Sony Pictures, watch it below:

The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer

The official title of the new Spider-Man movie (aka Spider-Man 4) has finally been revealed by Columbia Pictures: the film is titled the Amazing Spider-Man. We already have a few pictures:

Director Marc Webb and his crew are currently filming, the movie is shot entirely in 3D. Videos showing the behind the scenes have already popped up online:

Spider-Man Captain George Stacy

Actor Denis Leary has been spotted on the set of the new Spider-Man movie:

Denis Leary plays the role of Captain George Stacy, the father of Gwen Stacy (played by Emma Stone) who’s the first love of Peter Parker (Spider-Man, played by Andrew Garfield).

Here’s a picture of Captain George Stacy as in the comic book:

Denis Leary looks a bit younger than the comic book character.
