Bushwick – Texas is seceding from the United States
Plot synopsis:
“The film tells the story of twenty-year- old Lucy (Britany Snow) and war veteran Stupe (Dave Bautista). Texas is trying to secede from the U.S., and NYC is being used as a negotiation tool. Lucy meets Stupe after coming up from the subway into the military invasion of Brooklyn. Together they decide to cross the treacherous five blocks of Bushwick – littered with looters, local militias, the invading forces, and one crazy cousin – in order to get home and be reunited with Lucy’s grandmother.”

Texas would never secede, it would just take over the whole country, lol!

No official release date yet.

BUSHWICK

Fight your city, block by block.

Plot synopsis:
“When Lucy (Brittany Snow) steps off the subway, she walks into an utter bloodbath on the streets of Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. Texas is attempting to secede from the Union, and militia forces have descended upon New York City to claim it as an East Coast base of operations and negotiation tool. Faced with a flurry of whizzing bullets and total destruction around every corner, Lucy takes shelter in the basement of Stupe (Dave Bautista), a burly war veteran who reluctantly helps her traverse the treacherous five-block stretch of Bushwhack to reach her destination—assuming it’s still there.”

Well, if the civil war is that advanced that they’re fighting block by block in New York City, I guess there’s no more hope for reconciliation… The best they could get would be a stalemate.
