The first official movie trailer of Gravity, the upcoming thriller movie directed by Alfonso Cuaron and starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, is set to premiere on Thursday. But thanks to Entertainment Tonight we get to see some footage already:

“Dr. Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (george Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they’ve lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue.”

Those astronauts are faced with a desperate situation.. Will they survive?

The release date of Gravity is set for October 4, 2013.
