Directed by Brad Bird (yep the guy who helmed Pixar’s Incredibles), the cast includes Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner, and Paula Patton. The movie Mission Impossible 4 will be released in theaters ion December 16, 2011.

The next Mission Impossible movie is officially titled Mission Impossible Ghost protocol. The film is directed by Brad Bird and is starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway, Lea Seydoux, and Anil Kapoor. There’s no official plot synopsis yet.

The movie Mission Impossible 4 is directed by Brad Bird. The cast includes Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway, Lea Seydoux, and Anil Kapoor. Rumor is the film will not be titled “Mission Impossible IV”, the new installment would be a reboot of the franchise: a new actor who would take over the franchise later on.

I didn’t expect a former Pixar director to helm Mission Impossible 4. But well, if Tom Cruise thinks he’s fit for the job, I guess there’s no reason to worry.

Screenwriters Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec are attached to write the script, from an original idea by Cruise and Abrams.

This time JJ Abrams will be not be directing, but he’s helping to identify a director for Mission Impossible 4.

The film slated for release Memorial Day 2011.

JJ Abrams, who directed MI-3 and will be producing the fourth Mission Impossible movie, has announced that Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec, the guys behind Alias (series created by Abrams), have been hired to pen the screenplay of Mission Impossible IV:

J.J. Abrams is set to produce the movie Mission Impossible 4. It’s been confirmed via magazine TV Guide:

“I am incredibly honored that Tom Cruise has invited me back as producer on Mission Impossible 4. Tom and I have come up with a really cool idea we are pursuing.”it’s not a literal sequel.

Tom Cruise knows to chose the best on the market and wants to compound on the success they both had with the third opus of the Mission Impossible movie series. I’m confident that JJ Abrams and Tom Cruise will surprise us with Mission Impossible IV.
