Two new official movie posters of Resident Evil 5 Retribution have been unveiled:

The release date of Resident Evil 5 Retribution is set for September 14, 2012.

Resident Evil 5 Retribution Movie

Actress Milla Jovovich revealed via twitter that the fifth installment in the Resident Evil movie franchise will be titled Resident Evil Retribution. She also said that the story of Resident Evil 5 will be set in Japan. There’s no official confirmation yet though.

So what do you think of the title of Resident Evil 5? And is it a good thing that Resident Evil 5 Retribution heads to Japan?

Actress Sienna Guillory confirmed that she will reprise her role as Jill Valentine in the movie Resident Evil 5:

“RE:5 alert! Training begins! I aim to mostly put less in the big hole on the front of my face than comes out of the little one on my arse.”

We may consider this as an official announcement of the movie Resident Evil 5:

RESIDENT EVIL 5 RETRIBUTION

[Resident Evil 4] is the first one to ever open at number one worldwide. It’s the biggest movie in the franchise. So we’re definitely going to make another one. We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process.”
