It’s no wonder that Director Brett Ratner and Scriptwriter Jeff Nathanson have been talking about a fourth Rush Hour film since the box-office success of Rush Hour 3.Ratner has been hinting at a possible release in either 2010 or 2012.
And the film’s producer Arthur Sarkissian once said:
“I said, ‘We’ve waited six years to do Rush Hour 3 and if we wait another six years, Jackie is going to be way too tired to do this stuff. So Chris is on board – he said he would love to do it.
But we have to make sure it stands on its own. And it hinges on how successful ‘Rush Hour 3′ is, for the studio to say we want to make another one.
If we do [Rush Hour 4], I’m strongly thinking about setting it in Moscow.””

So I think there is still hope to seee a Rush Hour 4 movie. But it’s not so sure that Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker would reprise their roles. The two dudes would enjoy working again together, but do not show real interest in a Rush Hour 4 movie. Hence the rumor of Danny DeVito and Jet Li taking over the movie franchise. Which wouldn’t be that bad actually…
Anyway I bet Jacky Chan and Chris Tucker will be involved in Rush Hour 4 one way or another.
