It doesn’t really look like a poster for Saw 6… Would have expected something more twisted… And maybe more bloody disgusting too… Well, it’s a teaser of Saw 6.

The official synopsis of Saw VI has been unveiled by Lionsgate:

Have been confirmed in the cast of Saw VI so far:

- Tobin Bell as Jigsaw,

- and Peter Outerbridge (ReGenesis, Land of the Dead) as William.

Director Kevin Greutert (who was editor on all of the previous Saw movies and is now succeeding to David Hackl for helming Saw 6) is teasing us on his blog (here):

If you are a fan of the Saw movie series then rest assured that the tradition will be respected on Halloween 2009: Saw VI will give you a bloody day. Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) will still be there to tease the livings and Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) will be back too.

But his time, the director isn’t David Hackl. The job is taken over by Kevin Greutert who was the former movie editor on all of the Saw movies: so he isn’t a newbie, and knows damn well the universe of Saw. So Saw 6 is in good hands.

No detail about the plot has filtered yet but as long as they keep going with the famous traps, it should be fine! But maybe you have a recommendation for new Director Kevin Greutert about Saw VI?
