“The Ghost and The Whale tells the story of Joseph Hawthorne (Maurice Benard), a bipolar man who goes out to sea with his young wife Annabel Lee (Madeleine Hamer) and returns home alone. Joseph tells the townsfolk that a whale breached the surface, capsized the boat and sent Annabel Lee to her death. A year later, young reporter, Ed Hale (James Gaudioso) is called to the cape town to uncover what actually took place, only to find that Joseph is off his medication and communicating with a Whale(Jonathan Pryce). The mystery ensues as Annabel’s bloodthirsty family closes in and Joseph must come to terms with what actually happened that fateful day. Featuring Jonathan Pryce as The voice of the Whale.”
