Once again I shall ask God to bless Michael Bay! God knows this Transformers movie Sequel looks awesome. This clip of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen just makes my day, actually, I can even tell the clip makes my week-end!!
:)
Sometimes people send scoops and I just miss them because I don’t check my mails regularly enough. I’m not the first to break this news, but glad to see that fellow Transformers fan Nige did send a shot of the new Transformers 2 movie poster to us too. I’ve been able to somewhat correct the angle with my limited skills in Photoshop:

Nige thought we “might like to take a gander at this”: God knows you were damn right Nige! This movie poster of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is absolutely amazing!
:)

After watching this official Transformers 2 trailer in its full glory I’m almost dying of Impatience! Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is going to be amazing! Michael Bay: God bless you!
:)
One may recognize the glowing red eyes from the previous Transformers 2 movie poster:
The Fallen is one of the thirteen original Transformers. Both Transformers and Decepticons are afraid of his incredible power. Are they going to join forces to defeat this dangerous robotic relic?
A few shots from the movie sets of Transformers have leaked online thourgh LiningUpTV. The scene would take place in a museum, where the Fallen would have been hidden for centuries inside some Antic construct before being inadvertently awaken: Continue Reading »

Thanks to the new clip below of Transformers 2, aka Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, we get a better understanding of the Transformers 2 clips sent by Mark@Princeton a few months ago:
No need to worry for Sam (Shia Labeouf) who is in the car in the clip above: he was able to get rid of the sticky Transformer robot, but the Windshield has been damaged for good:
Do you you think that Sam Witwicky’s car insurance will cover this unexpected damage? Those decepticons are so careless!
;-P
Pretenders hiding in a human-shaped shell may get introduced in Transformers 2. Isabel Lucas, who plays a cute girl who befriends Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), was seen in a scene that gives ground to this hypothesis:
According to the rumor Alice would have an arm that transforms into an energy weapon, a long tongue, and a scanning tentacle.
The first Pretenders show up as a subline within the Transformers toy line: Pretenders were capable of disguising their robotic forms through the use of synthetic organic outer shells.

The first official trailer of Transformers 2 was said to be released in February. And we thought that the recent teaser poster of Transformers Revenge of teh Fallen was a good sign. Looks like the gods of Hollywood and Director Michael Bay won’t disappoint us: it is now confirmed that a Transformers 2 trailer will be released for the Superbowl 2009.
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.) REVENGE IS COMING
6.26.09
Director Michael Bay is really trying to keep the lid on anything related to the plot of Transformers 2: what’s been released so far hardly give any hint at what’s going on.
Even this teaser poster for the sequel of Transformers 2 does not tell that much… But I’m glad they’re releasing it because it’s a good sign somewhat confirming that the trailer of Transformers 2 will be released in February!
:)
We may have a look to the first official pictures of Transformers 2, aka Transformers Revenge Thanks to USA Today and to Empire Magazine. Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox are both back in Transformers 2:
Thanks to USA Today (here) we know a bit more about the plot of Transformers 2:
This time, the story finds Sam and Mikaela under attack by the evil Decepticons because of something Sam has learned about the origins of the Transformers and their ancient history on Earth.
To acquire this knowledge, the invading Decepticons need to capture Sam instead of kill him. Meanwhile, the U.S. military and an international coalition has united with the good-guy Autobots to fight back the villains’ attack.
Some of the most important newcomers are in the robot cast: Decepticons Soundwave, a fearsome communications expert, and Devastator, whose arms and legs are built out of other Transformers. And on the Autobots’ side is Jetfire, a villain whose age and broken-down physicality leads him to help the Autobots.

Those details remind of the Transformers 2 screenplay that leaked online a while ago (and I confirm it was a legit early script of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen)…
Transformers 2 is one the most awaited movie of 2009, there is no doubt it is going to be a blockbuster: those pictures and the details about the plot are strong indicators that the movie is going to be awesome.
That’s a good sign for Transformers 3: quite sure now that Director Michael and Shia Labeouf will team up again to deliver a third transformers movie!
:)
The latest issue of Empire Magazine, the February 2009 issue, is featuring an article about Transformer 2, aka Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, and Optimus Prime is making Empire’s cover:
USA Today gives us a better glimpse of Optimus Prime:

Below a Transformers 2 clip showing Optimus Prime in its alternate mode as a truck:
This clip was taken on Shoreline Ave, in Long Beach, Ca.
it doesn’t seem that there was any serious filming going on here, but Michael Bay’s Porsche Cayenne W camera rig was following the autobot cars to maybe get some b-roll footage. Here are some of the cars identified in this clip: Concept Centennial Corvette (Silver), Chevy Camaro (Bumblebee in yellow), Optimus Prime (flamed truck), chevrolet beats (orange), Chevy Trax (green), GMC Dropkick c4500(Ironhide))
If you were hoping for a movie trailer of Transformers 2 before the end of this year, then you will be as disappointed as I am right now: Director Michael Bay announced through his official site (here) that the trailer of Transformers 2, aka Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, will be released only in February 2009, and if lucky during the Superbowl 2009:
“Hey everyone. Back from Egypt and Jordan – we had a wonderful shoot over there. I will miss the crew they were an amazing bunch of people and a lot of fun.
I’m stuck in the edit room up to my eye balls – also finished producing Friday the 13th and The Unborn – coming out the after the new year. Our Trailer for Transformer you have been asking about – First there will be a teaser poster soon after the new year, and the teaser trailer will be out either in the theaters early February or on the Superbowl. Cannot decide yet. I’m going to release some set stills on this site in a few weeks. I’ll keep you informed. Going back to do more selects now from my portable avid that I take home from work. It’s late, see you.”
Michael Bay
If only Shia Labeouf didn’t have this stupid accident filming would have been wrapped earlier and a Transformer 2 trailer would have been released in due time… But well, if they’re going to air the trailer during the Superbowl 2009 then sign me up! I even think I’m becoming more attached to the Superbowl and its commercials than to Christmas… Hey, God will understand, I’m sure he’s a geek too for tweaking with DNA in the first place!
Update: It’s been confirmed that the trailer will air during the Super Bowl: Transformers 2 Superbowl
