Two covers of the movie tie-in books of New Moon, aka Twilight 2, have been unveiled. And one of the covers is fairly hot:

It could be hotter but I guess they have to keep it PG-13 because of younger audiences. They want lot of people to go watch the movie in theaters, it means they’re targeting the whole family, young teens and even kids included. But Twilight isn’t a story for kids…
So no wonder that some fans are disappointed to see the Twilight movie series to get tamed… But well, maybe in the following Twilight movies, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, they won’t shy away from the lustful passion that was one of the main reasons for the original success of Stephenie Meyer’s books.

We have a clip of New Moon, aka Twilight 2, which comes from the movie set in Montepulciano, Italy:

Bella (Kristen Stewart) rams into shirtless Edward the Vampire (Robert Pattinson) in order to protect him from the sunlight.

Well that’s just a behind the scenes of Twilight 2, not sure what cut of the scene they will keep, but it looks good so far. What do you think? Confident that the movie New Moon will be faithful to the book?

I wouldn’t dare to bug Taylor Lautner who plays the role of Jacob Black the werewolf: he’s just a teenager but he could knock me out with just a blow! He really worked a lot to keep his role in the movie Twilight 2 aka New Moon, impressive!

A batch of new New Moon photos have surfaced online. And much to Twilight fans’ delight, Robert Pattinson is showing off his vampire body:

Those pictures come from the set of New Moon in Italy. The red-clad people must be the Volturi (correction following Laney’s comment, see below).

The movie New Moon aka Twilight 2 will hit theaters on November 20, 2009. But Summit Entertainment will treat fans with some footage or maybe even a New Moon trailer during the MTV Awards this Sunday: so Twilight mums and other Twilight fans get ready for the event!

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we may take a look to the first official pictures of New Moon, aka Twilight 2. This movie sequel to Twilight is directed by Chris Weitz and of course Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are back, respectively as Bella and Edward. Taylor Lautner also managed to stay in the cast (he loves Jacob’s wig according to the rumor).

Those are great New Moon pictures. Poor Bella is going to miss Edward so much in New Moon that she will imagine him being everywhere. I pity Jacob a bit, he can’t compete for the love of Bella: Edward is definitely outranking him!

Plot:
“After Bella (Kristen Stewart) recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake (Robert Pattinson). Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Danger in different forms awaits.”
This poster shows what’s ahead with New Moon: a love triangle in which Jacob feels like he could win Bella’s heart… But Edward can’t be erased from Bella’s memory!

Twilight are frantically looking for the screenplay of New Moon, aka Twilight 2, since the script has leaked online.

This early draft of New Moon’s script is pretty good, and I think there is a potential for reeaching a larger public than the first Twilight movie did. That’s probably why Director Chris Weitz was hired in the first place too.
