V Clip

V The new TV SeriesThe first 8 minutes of the new V series that will start to air on ABC on November 3, 2009 have been released just to tease us all:

Plot:
“Simultaneously appearing over every major city in the world, the Visitors (or V’s) promote a message of peace. Through their generous offer to share advanced technology, the V’s build a following that may actually hide a more malevolent agenda, one that twists a very deep component of human nature — devotion. While the world quickly becomes fascinated with the V’s and their link to wonders just beyond the reach of human understanding, FBI Counter Terrorist Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) discovers a secret hidden beneath the skin of every V – a secret that may threaten the lives of everyone close to her. Yet for her teenage son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), the V’s are his ticket to something big and hopeful-a new chance for mankind to unite in common goals. To Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), a career-hungry news anchor, his exclusive interview with Anna (Morena Baccarin), the leader of the V’s, is crucial to his dominating the airwaves. Also unsure about the Visitors is Father Jack (Joel Gretsch), a priest questioning his faith in the wake of the Visitors’ arrival. Seeking answers outside the church, Father Jack discovers there are other dissidents who believe the Visitors are not who they say they are, including Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut), who is faced with his own life-altering decision when the V’s show up. Never has there been more at stake — it truly is the dawning of a new day.”

I’m definitely impatient to watch this re-imagining of the 1980’s V series. Can’t have enough of sci-fi shows!
:)

V on ABC

V The New TV ShowHeroes is back since Monday, the new season of Smallville premieres tonight, and next week it’s the launch of Stargate Universe. So I’m a sci-fi fan rather happy. But can’t have enough of sci-fi and a new TV series V will start in November on ABC!

V

Premise:
“The world awakens to find spaceships hovering over all major cities. Though the aliens claim to come in peace, some do not believe them. Homeland Security agent Erica Evans discovers that the aliens have plans to infiltrate our governments and businesses in a plot to take over the planet. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan, an alien who wants to save humanity. However, the aliens have recruited earth’s youth, including Erica’s son, to serve unknowingly as spies.”

That alien ambassador may look pretty, but below her fake human skin, there is an ugly reptilian body…
:/

ABC V Premiere

And if you wondering if this new breed of visitors will eat vivid rodents and insects in sushi: the answer is yes! Executive producer Jeffrey Bell confirmed indeed that actress Morena Baccarin, who plays the alien leader Anna, will indeed eat a rodent of some kind.

V Trailer

New TV series VDo you remember the old TV series V that aired on NBC? It was a science fiction series about an alien invasion of Earth by a carnivorous race of reptilians (wearing a human skin too fool Mankind) known as “The Visitors”. I was quite found of the show, still remember the visitors eatings mouses and insects for breakfast!

Well we will be able to enjoy a brand new remake of the series on ABC!

Here below the trailer of V:

I like the new take on V: if I have to make a bold statement, I would even say that when there is a kind of Battlestar Galactica vibe in this new V series!

V is slated to debut in early 2010.
