Thanks to Dreamworks Animation, here’s a first official poster of Mr Peabody and Sherman, the upcoming CG animated adventure comedy movie that brings the popular cartoon characters to the big screen:

MR PEABODY AND SHERMAN

Plot:
“The film will feature Mr. Peabody (voiced by Ty Burrell), a talking dog who is the smartest being in the world, and his adopted boy Sherman (voiced Max Charles). When Sherman’s use of their time traveling WABAC machine results in disastrous and comical results, it is up to them to put things on track before the space-time continuum is irreparably destroyed.”

The film is directed by Rob Minkoff (who helmed The Lion King and The Forbidden Kingdom). The voice cast includes Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Stephen Colbert, Allison Janney, Ariel Winter, Stephen Tobolowsky, Leslie Mann, Stanley Tucci, and Mel Brooks.

The release date of Mr Peabody and Sherman is set for March 7, 2014.
