The movie trailer of Gamer, an upcoming sci-fi movie directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and starring Gerard Butler, has been first released on XBOX, but it has already found its way online for us all to enjoy it (thanks to tijuana):

Will Kable (Gerard Butler) get back his freedom? Shall see in the movie Gamer this Fall! :)
Lord Blackwood is the villain of the story, the evil mastermind Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) will have to defeat.
Mark Strong said about his role:
“He needed to have an element of showmanship about him by virtue of the fact that he’s trying to persuade everyone around him that he’s so in league with the Devil that he’s able to conquer death. I just wanted to make him an equal adversary of Sherlock Holmes.”
Actor Mark Strong
Here some more pictures of Sherlock Holmes:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
Plot: “Detective Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr.) and his stalwart partner Watson (Law) engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.”
This is not going to be your grandfather’s Sherlock Holmes! :)
Walt Disney Pictures brings a classic tale to life!
Plot: “A fairy tale centered on a young girl named Princess Tiana who lives in New Orleans’ French Quarter during the Jazz Age”
What a lovely a twist to this classic tale: the princess transforms into a frog after kissing the batracian!
But I still can’t say that I’m conquered by this animated movie… Maybe entertaining for my kids, bu not even sure about that… Well I suppose it’s one those movies that parents will force upon their children out of nostalgia… I don’t think this film deserves more a direct to dvd release… :-)
Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham SEMPER FIGHT
It’s based on Semper Fi (Semper Fidelis which means “Always Faithful” in Latin): that’s the motto of the United States Marine Corps.
Impressive Expendable tattoo: (Click on the poster to enlarge it.) And if you’re in Cannes for the Film Festival you’re likely to see this installation soon: (Click on the photo to enlarge it.) Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li and Jason Statham in the same movie: The Expendables is gonna be more than explosive! ;-P
A new official poster of Rob Zombie’s H2 movie has been unveiled: (Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Plot: “Laurie Strode struggles to come to terms with her brother Michael’s deadly return to Haddonfield, Illinois; meanwhile, Michael prepares for another reunion with his sister.” I pity Michael Myers who can’t be freed of his obsession… Poor evil Mike! ;-P
In Terminator 4 Anton Yelchin is playing the role of Kyle Reese in Terminator 4. Kyle Reese is the resistant who will be sent to the past to protect John Connor’s mother (and is actually Connor’s father…). Skynet may want to kill him, but John Connor won’t let it happen:
Thanks to Firstshowing we may take a look to some splendid pictures of Agora, the upcoming drama movie set in Roman Egyt, 391 A.D., starring Rachel Weisz as Hypatia the philosopher and Max Minghella as her Christian slave:
Agora is quite impressive knowing that they used a real set especially built on Malta to recreate Alexandria, and not the product of CGI tricks.
By the way in case you’re wondering: the Agora (or forum in their Roman equivalent) was an open place of assembly in ancient Greek city-states. We may still find the word as etymon of the word agoraphobia, the fear of critical public situations. :)
More clips of Terminator 4, aka Terminator Salvation, have popped up online through Collider. It’s surprising that Warner Bros. are releasing so much footage of the latest Terminator movie so early, but well it doesn’t hurt: those preview clips of McG’s Terminator 4 will make you want to go stand in line for tickets right away!
