EXTRACTION

Vengeance runs in the family.

Plot:
“When a terrorist group kidnaps retired CIA field operative Leonard Turner (Bruce Willis), his son Harry Turner (Kellan Lutz), a government analyst who has been repeatedly turned down for field service, launches his own unsanctioned rescue operation. While evading highly skilled operatives, deadly assassins, and international terrorists, Harry finally puts his combat training to the test in a high stakes mission to find his father and to stop a terrorist plot.”

From what I heard Gina Carano plays Victoria, a tough field operative assigned to hunt down Harry. So it sounds like she’s playing a villain, but I guess she will open her eyes and then try to help Harry.

JIM HENSON’S TURKEY HOLLOW

“Based on an unproduced gem from The Jim Henson Company’s archives, the film follows the story of the Emmerson family, recently divorced father Ron (Jay Harrington) and his kids Tim (Graham Verchere) and Annie (Genevieve Buechner), as they head to the quaint town of Turkey Hollow to spend a rustic Thanksgiving at the farm of Ron’s eccentric Aunt Cly (Mary Steenburgen). Surprised by the lack of internet and technology in Turkey Hollow, Tim and Annie soon find themselves swept up in tracking the ‘Howling Hoodoo’, an elusive monster that, up until now, Turkey Hollow residents have long dismissed as mere legend. The Thanksgiving holiday threatens to take a bleak turn when a scheming neighbor frames Aunt Cly for turkey theft, but the fractured family teams up with some surprising new friends to save the day. Chris Bridges aka Ludacris appears as an on-screen narrator in the film.”
