Season of The Witch is an upcoming fantasy drama movie set during the Middle Age. It is directed by Dominic Sena and starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, and Claire Foy. The movie is under production with filming currently taking place in the Austrian Alps.

Plot:
“As the Black Plague rages across 14th century Europe, one brave knight Lavey (Nicolas Cage), is tasked with transporting a girl (Claire Foy) suspected of being the witch who caused the pandemic to trial. Believing she is wrongly accused, Lavey and a group of wary followers fight through a mystical and treacherous landscape to a hallowed place where her innocence can be proved and Europe’s curse can be lifted. The premise is appealing. I hope they will favor a real plot and will avoid to overuse CGI effects… If done well Season of the Witch could be an awesome epic movie!
