Terminator 5 Movie

Terminator 5 Movie - Terminator Salvation SequelTerminator Salvation isn’t released yet that Director McG seems working on developing Terminator 5 later on. Film Journal International, a trade publication covering the motion picture industry (I believe it’s a reliable source), met with Director McG to talk about T4. McG must have felt confident because he also dwelt on terminator 5, the movie sequel to Terminator Salvation:

Terminator 5 Plot Revealed?

Director McG

“I strongly suspect the next movie is going to take place in a [pre-Judgment Day] 2011. John Connor is going to travel back in time and he’s going to have to galvanize the militaries of the world for an impending Skynet invasion. They’ve figured out time travel to the degree where they can send more than one naked entity. So you’re going to have hunter killers and transports and harvesters and everything arriving in our time and Connor fighting back with conventional military warfare, which I think is going to be fucking awesome. I also think he’s going to meet a scientist that’s going to look a lot like present-day Robert Patrick [who famously played the T-1000 in Terminator 2], talking about stem-cell research and how we can all live as idealized, younger versions of ourselves.”

I hope Director McG is not telling BS just to create some buzz because I’d be damn thrilled to watch a Terminator 5 movie based on the premise above!

Director McG seems definitely overhauling the Terminator franchise for the best!

Well, I’m one of a big fan Terminator. Watch movie and series, so far. First trailer of Terminator Salvation look lame.. nothing special at all, but the latest full-length trailer look amazingly great. Robot jet ship and human-robotic, w-o-w… This is goin’ to have a lot of buzz. I bet Christian Bale will play a great character as a new John Connor. Hope this film a good as the trailer released.

About Terminator 5, I really hope McG is talking real… not just a buzz for making T4 a success in box-office.

This is a horrible premise for the next movie. Keep the story going forward from Salvation. Judgment day finally happened in T3 and Salvation picks up from there. All of a sudden, making 2011 pre-judgment day would be jumping the shark, and would be a disaster of a movie.

This T5 early idea is an abnormal thing! It is destroying all the T franchise and the audiences will be dissappointed and angry!… Keep going on the film forward with normal ideas!

i like the idea of the time travel for some epic battle scenes but the fact that hk and maybe other robots without any form of human skin is getting away from the story. the explaining of the t1000 would be cool though if it’s presented right like said but again i hope they don’t get away from the original terminator mythology.
By the way even though transformers is kicking terminators butt in the box office i’ve seen both and the terminator movie is actually way better in my opinion. salvation is a good movie and good for the franchise…. guess the kids these days don’t remember or seen the first few movies eh?

T5 needs to be made allowing this story to come full circle; it’ll bring us back to the point when Reese is sent back to 1984. T5 could end when Reese (Michael Biehn’s character) and the Terminator (Arnie’s character) are transported back to LA circa 1984…

yo tlh i totally agree with your last statement about the kids. anyway i think what mcg is trying to say is that it’s in part of the future where after the 3rd terminator was sent back now skynet figured out how to send back stuff without having to put skin on it THAT I hope if it’s the case will be explained.
