Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland 3D movie promised to deliver a movie experience wonderfully strange:

Obviously i havent seen this movie yet but knowing Tim Burton’s past style I think that Evan Rachael Wood would have made an awesome Alice for his movie….

  3. Andy

Was this suppose to be wes craven’s movie, and pretty sure this is the one that should be based off American McGee’s Alice…. just wondering…

  4. Roos van der Jagt

Can’t wait to see… Thank god for Tim Burton’s freakishness, where would we be without a director like this!

  5. bull

this is going to be the best movie ever. and no, this wasn’t wes craven’s movie (THANK GOD) … he can’t be as creative as tim burton.

  6. yawn

This looks almost as annoying as Chocolate Factory.

  7. Mike Scheffler

the artist Michael Kutsche designed the characters for the movie: Designer Michael Kutsche – Alice Wonderland

  8. bull

too bad you don’t have as much creativity as he does to make an annoying movie like charlie and the chocolate factory. i guess your creativity takes you tot he point where you search for blog about movies or directors that u don’t like and you post there stupid things. you must be really smart..

  9. yay

i cant wait for this movie, its a Tim Burton movie , it has johnny deep!
What’s more to love about it

  10. ricky mccrum

I love johnny depp so much, and this is what his 5th movie with tim burton? perfect fusion of creativity, originality, and ability to make anything weird awesome :] i especially loved sweeney todd and since i already love alice in wonderland…. this will most likey surpass any standards and expectations the majority of us will have. cant wait till 3-5-10 :D

    You’re late Alice Naughty Naughty

  12. TINA

omgosh this movie looks freakin’ awesome but all tim burtons movies are….

  13. Natasha

That or ‘yawn’ was just searcing things and has their own opinion that they think it looks like ‘Chocolate Factory’
Please don’t try calling out others by saying “you must be really smart” when you yourself writes ‘u’ instead of ‘you’ and didn’t use capitals or anything -___-

  14. scathach

    Get em bull :P

Yeah tim burton is probably the most creative director ive ever seen.

  15. D

My favorite book + my favorite director + my favorite actor? OMG WIN. I can’t wait to see this.

Personally I think Imogen Poots would have been a brilliant Alice. She was the young actress in 28 Weeks later. But I trust in Mr. Burton. I’m sure his Alice will be exceptional.

  17. luke

this looks absolutly bloody brilliant! ah! i can’t wait for this one :) the trailer and the pictures of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland look brilliant :p
    i’m excited!

  18. bull

Natasha, when i will write an official letter or a paper or anything like that i will use capitals and you instead of u, but this is just a chit chat on the internet so i really don’t care if you like it or not. 2nd English is not my mother language so give me a break. i’d really like to see you writing in danish. 3rd, yawn could write something a little more constructive than “this looks as annoying as Chocolate Factory”..
I really can’t see how it makes you smarter or not if you write with capitals or not or if you use u instead of you and vice versa.

    Oh My God…Amazing!!

This looks totally awesome! I have a lower leg “sleeve” tattoo re: my own Life according to Alice in Wonderland — the dark side — just like the McGee’s game. And when the hell is Johnny Depp going to win a damn Oscar??? He is one of the greatest character actors ever.

  21. Krista

this movie looks soo awsome…i cant wait

  22. savannah

This Alice in Wonderland movie looks creepy… but i have to go see it when it comes out!

  23. Kais

How come this look like a bastard child of the original Alice in Wonderland and American Mcgee’s Alice.

I’m hoping there are more elements from Alice, it’s much darker.

  24. garrett

i’m really excited about this Alice in Wonderland movie and have high hopes which i hope it meets

I thought the inspiration for the making of this movie stemmed from American McGee’s video game “Alice”. As good as Tim Burton’s movies are, this looks to be a ‘family movie’ sell-out in contrast to the very dark style of the game. American McGee’s vision of this classic tale gave adults a story to sink our teeth into. I do hope that my evaluation of the movie is premature and that I am proven wrong (come on Tim, please prove me wrong!). These doubts were developed when a saw the trailer that presented a blonde cutsey little Alice along with a fluffy and cuddly Cheshire Cat (those of you that are familiar with the game know what I’m talking about). I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

It will be interesting to see how a new generation will understand and interpret Alice. When the book came out it was a sensation for almost 100 years. Then Disney created another generation of Alice fans. Now we will usher in the Burton generation of Alice fans.

I hope some movie viewers will read the original Carroll version of the story.

  27. Alexander

Amazing and superb! Johnny Depp is the most versatile actor I have ever seen. It will be remembered forever!

  28. sandie

    I love Tim Burton.

  29. Marlene

This movie scared me as a kid. I’m sure it will be a hit but I will pass it’s too freaky to me.

  30. Alice in Wonderland Trailer

Can’t wait for this movie! Tim Burton might be the perfect pick to capture the weirdness of the original Alice tales.

this is going to be the best movie that has ever graced the big screen. TIM BURTON IS ABSOUTELY BRILLIANT! if you add his creative genuis, johnny depp’s mad skill as a crazy, diverse actor, and the insanity that is Wonderland you get…well, the movie of a lifetime. I haven’t even seen it yet and it’s my favorite movie ever. I love johnny depp and tim burton. Kudos

More labored, over-processed, pre-digested ‘whimsical inspiration’
from the once genuinely promising Burton.

I really never understood why people felt the need to spew venom on most threds unless it was necessary for understanding based on realistic suffering from the past in real life and not just online. in this way you avoid actual conflict. However this is a fun movie one of many on the stories written by Charles Dodgeson. I see no point in spewing venom here. This should not be the place to take out supressed anger or bitterness. Critical beings are most often critical of evrything even themselves.
