Un NO this will never be like twilightt: it’s better! So stop saying that! Vampire Academy is its own book!

I agree with you – not only is it written better, but the characters are better and the story line is better.
Twilight really pales in comparison- not to mention, they don’t have Adrian or Dimitri in the twilight franchise.

I read both series and I think The Vampire Academy is 100 times better then Twilight! Bella was a mindless halfwit whose whole life was depending on her love for Edward whereas Rose is strong and independent and a much better lead female role :)

    I can’t wait :)

Rose is definitely 100% better than Bella will ever be.
(SPOILER ALERT – for the books, that is)
One of my favorite scenes from the VA series shows just how much stronger Rose is than Bella. In Last Sacrifice, after Rose and Dimitri make up (which was, uh… *clears throat*… steamy, to say the least), Rose explains to Dimitri that he must forgive himself for all the horrible things he did as a Strigoi before they can really be together.
    (END SPOILER)
Bella would never, ever demand that of Edward. In fact, Edward was constantly being a p*ssy throughout the entire Twilight series, saying that he doesn’t want to turn Bella into a vampire because he doesn’t want to compromise her soul. He doesn’t think he has a soul, so he mopes around, feeling sorry for himself. All the while, Bella is content to let Edward think of himself as – as Rose would put it – a victim. Bella really doesn’t care about all the turmoil that is raging within Edward – she might in theory, but her actions say something completely different – and only cares about being turned immortal herself.
So, yes, the VA movie series(if they move on to the next books; *fingers crossed*) will most definitely be better than the Twilight movie series.

This… will be and already is so much better than Twilight. No ifs, ands or buts about it! The characters are stronger in how they’re written and as people. Everything is just going to blow the Twilight series away because it’s that much better! :D

The Vampire Academy is not even comparable to Twilight. I had to force myself to read Twilight. It was a chore. Not even to mention watching the movies – Ick! I am now reading the Vampire Academy books for the third time and I still never get tired of them. The plot is fantastic and original with complex and well developed characters. I have a reasonable amount of faith in the casting (especially Danila Kozlovsky as Dimitri – he’s actually Russian! YIPEE!). I believe that if the Vampire Academy turns into a movie franchise it has the potential to not only rival Twilight, but steal it’s fans, hit it with a brick, watch it cry and leave it to a cold and lonely death. And then as an emotional strike, it won’t attend Twilights funeral! . . . Wow that made no sense . . . but at least it was full of passion (just like Vampire Academy)!!! What can I say, I’m fourteen and all about the melodrama! And the exclamation points!!!!!!!!! And people say gingers are demonic.

They are generally trained to be guardians of the Moroi, but some stay home and take care of their kids.
This is actually the true story behind the famous leader Vlad Tepes.

This, the third game in the series, will largely be received as the best of the
series, and it will outsell both of its predecessors.
