Here’s what Director Michael Patrick King recently said about a potential Sex and the City 3 movie:
I have no idea. When I did the first movie, I didn’t even think about SATC 2. When I’m actually having sex – like I am right now, just finishing having sex, I always like to think about the sex I’m actually finishing. If I was to think ahead, it would just be rude! It would be rude to my current movie.

And here’s what Kim Cattrall replied when asked about SATC 3:
“That’s totally not up to me, thank God! Thank God I don’t have to write that third script. That would be so daunting, but that’s up to Michael.

Well, I pretty Sex and the City 2 is going to be a hit, so I bet the studios will push for a new sequel. So I think we may fairly assume that there’s going to be a Sex and the City 3 movie, and sooner than later because the girls are kind of getting old…
