I have no idea why this current series is getting so much flack, but basically , it’s Aliens WITHOUT Sigourney Weaver. Personally I like it, but then again I’m a Alien fan anyway, is it as good as Aliens from 1986 (?), you’llbe hard pressed to surpass that , Is it an Alien film yes, is it gory, yes
    is it well acted yes.
Put this on your plate, currently most ( not all ) heavy scifi films are getting shot down. from one sheep then the rest will follow just like like sheep. It’s entertainment and this is entertaining and blood thirsty.
You want an Alien film you’ve got one. This it it.Just stop moaning

and one last thing. Would you really want to see and wrinkly old sigourney weaver wheeled out and resurrected once again. because that’s what Neill Blomkamp was going to do. As much as I like the old Alien films, all good things must come to an end and Ripley is past her sell-by date! I’m pretty sure the public doesn’t want to see an old age pensioner fight Aliens.
