The term Dreadnought refers to all-big-gun kind of ship that appeared at the beginning of the 20th century.
The arrival of the dreadnoughts sparked a new arms race, principally between Britain and Germany but reflected worldwide, as the new class of warships became a crucial symbol of national power.

In Death Race it’s indeed an all-bi-gun truck. So the name of Dreadnought is well deserved!
