Sony distribution president Rory Bruer has confirmed that Ghostbusters 3 will be developed!
back a third installment of the Ghostbusters franchise.
The screenplay Ghostbusters III is drafted by Scriptwriters Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (from Office). Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Dan Ackroyd are likely to reprise their roles, but rather as supporting characters. According to the rumor the new film would actually focus on a new crew of Ghostbusters who are mentored by the veteran fighters.

Ghostbusters 3 is coming but not until 2012. The Original GB’s will be in Ghostbusters 3. For some reason Sigourney Weaver said no again to Ghostbusters 3. First she said yes but then she said no. A friend of mine told me that they will find a new Dana Barrett but if not then they will have Dana Barrett move to a new state or Country. Oscar will be a GB in GB3. Dr. Venkman will help his Step-Son Oacar be a GB in GB3 when they train him. It sounds Awesome and I’m glad that we GB Fans will finally get a Ghostbusters 3 because we need one. Ray Parker Jr. knows about Ghostbusters 3 being made but he hasn’t been asked yet. Dan said that Production will began this Winter of 2009 so when Production begans this Winter of 2009 the GB’s or Ivan Reitman will call Ray Parker Jr. and tell him to write a new GB Song for GB3 because he will do an Awesome job writing a new song for Ghostbusters 3. Just remember Ghostbusters 3 will be here in 2012 not 2011. Filming will began in 2011 for a 2012 release. I would say when the weather is nice in the Summer of 2011 then GB3 will start filming in 2011 for a 2012 release.My Wife and I will like Ghostbusters 3 a lot And the GB3 soundtrack to!!
Know you pepole of hollywood realy just ruin movies when the movie dosent have the same characters in it none can play the parts of the ghostbusters team like bill murry and the others. who ever makes

The same Original GB Characters will be in Ghostbusters 3. Bill Murray,Dan Aykroyd,Harold Ramis,Ernie Hudson and maybe Rick Moranis because Rick retired acting when his Wife died from Cancer. She was very young. The GB’s will be training a new team to help them out. Just to note: Ghostbusters 3 won’t be in theaters in 2011 it will be here in 2012. in 2012 you will see Ghostbusters 3 will be in Theaters Worldwide USA in 2012. You will see on the GB3 cast list that the Original GB’s will be in Ghostbusters 3. I can’t wait to take my Wife to see GB3 in 2012 because we will both will like GB3 in 2012. Filming will began in 2011 for a 2012 release.I’m hoping that Sigourney will change her mind again to be in GB3 because I had a dream that she told me that she will be in GB3. I was very Happy!!! Sigourney is my #1 Favorite Actress and dreams do come true. I’m hoping that Annie will be in GB3 as well.
This week on October 20th 2009 Ernie Hudson confirmed from Ivan Reitman that Ghostbusters 3 is going to happen and Ernie said from Ivan that Ghostbusters 3 will be here on May 2011 not 2012. I’m sorry very sorry for saying that. the GB3 Imdb has the right Information but they still had the wrong year. Thanks to Ernie and Ivan they said that GB3 will now be here in May 2011. They didn’t know what date but when GB3 gets closer we will know what date of May 2011 GB3 will be in Theaters. Ivan said this month on Oct.10-2009 that my #1 favorite Actress Sigourney Weaver is back on board for Ghostbusters 3. I’m Very Happy and pleased about that. She liked the script when Harold,Dan or Ivan called her up. She’s back on board! Sony has already confirmed Ghostbusters 3 this year back in April 1st. They said that this is no April fools joke and see there right because Ernie already confirmed along with Ivan. Ivan told Ernie that filming will began next Fall of September 2010 for a May 2011 release so I belive Ernie and Ivan 100% that in May 2011 Ghostbusters 3 will be in Theaters because when Production begans this Winter of 2009 they can get everything done before filming begans next September 2010. It’s Finally going to happen and yes all of the Original GB’s including Bill Murray will be in Ghostbusters 3!
