Actor Jim Carrey has been spotted contorting his face on the set of Mr Popper’s Penguins, the modern movie adaptation of the children’s classic book:

The film is directed by Mark Waters. Besides Jim Carrey, the cast also includes Carla Gugino, Ophelia Lovibond, Philip Baker Hall, Andrew Stewart-Jones, James Tupper, Clark Gregg, David Krumholtz, and Angela Lansbury. The release date of Mr Popper’s Penguins is set for August 12, 2011.
