There’s a new official promo picture for Power Rangers, the upcoming movie adaption directed by Dean Israelite:
“Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.”
So, you may recognize R.J. Cyler as Billy aka the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly aka the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack aka the Black Ranger, Becky G as Trini aka the Yellow Ranger, and Dacre Montgomery as Jason aka the Red Ranger.

It was good at Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers:The Movie. They turned Rita into a Saban/Fox Kids Trailer Trash Ho. Where’s Goldar? Lord Zedd? How about the puddie? This picture looks like it was taken on Fados (The planet from the first movie) What’s next? The command center looking like Dexter’s Lab? I’d rather watch the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from the 1st season before giving this movie a second thought.
@Chad: Yea but there’s only been pics not a trailer (wont b released till October 10th) and they are having puttys. If there’s a sequel (which the owner of lions gate said if the movie did good then lions gate wants to make more) then im sure they will have zedd in it cause he didn’t come into the show until later on too. And I kinda want to see how Elizabeth banks is going to play as Rita should b interesting, (and I’m sure they hired her cause she was known for hunger games and she has worked with lions gate be4) oh and they are having Goldar but he will b cgi, so yea maybe u should wait to judge just cause u see a few pics doesn’t mean it’s ganna b bad.
