Excited about seeing the film, but why do they feel they have to show so much in trailers?
The reason is simple. They want your butt in the seat on opening night. It doesn’t matter to them how much of the movie they show. They just need the money that you pay to get in, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to get you into the theater, because advertising makes or breaks a movie’s success. It’s not their fault though. It’s how our movie industry runs. Which I think is a broken model.
