They’re using motion capture in real settings and sets. Let’s hope the final result will be as good as what we saw in Rise of the Apes (they used the same technique for that earlier film).

Plot:
“Aliens invade Earth and inadvertently spawn a quartet of mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world.”

The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.
