Director Michael Bay revealed that Transformers 4 (the new Transformers movie that’s set to ignore Sam Witwicky, Shia Labeouf’s character) will be a sequel to the first three movies:
“It’s not a reboot, We’re basically taking the history from where it was — or where we left it in Chicago. And we’re going to carry it on from there.”
