National Treasure 2 Book Of Secrets Page 47
I just watched National Treasure 2. The trailer did not convince me to watch the movie last December but had the occasion to watch the film yesterday. And except a lengthy start National Treasure 2 progressively kicks into high gear with some impressive scenes.
The idea of a Book of Secrets, a book kept by US presidents for US presidents’ eyes only, is mesmerizing even if a bit farfetched.
Who would resist to having a look to a book that is said to contains the answers for the biggest coverups in American history after all!
But what about this mysterious page 47 of the book of secrets? Does any of you have an idea? Ben Gates (Nicolas Cage) said at the end of National Treasure 2 that Page 47 is ‘life-altering’…
That promises a lot for National Treasure 3!
I am now impatient to know more about this third National treasure movie. Let’s hope that Jon Turteltaub and Nicolas cage will bring some incredible surprise from the page 47 of the book of secrets!
Maybe are they going to link the All Seeing Eye - the pyramid on the U.S. One Dollar Bill - to some mysterious treasure in Egypt. What do you think?

It refers to the legendary Fountain of Youth, searched for in Florida by Ponce de Leon.

The Fountain of youth seems to be the rumor but as one comment pointed out, If Disney episodes goes it was reference it was done in Pirates. Now beleive it Area 51 because if you pause it on the dvd at the phone picture the Ben Gates takes and zoom in you will see clear as day “51″ but it could be 51 pictures who knows?

UPDATE: The Page 47 of National Treasure 2is actually involves a quest to find The lost colony of Roanoke, North Carolina ( the colony that disappeared in 1585) . The thought is that the colony was the “holding place” of the grandest treasure of all (even better than the city of gold). The treasure has yet to be reveald but it is supposed to be the best of all time. The idea was to originally use the idea of Area 51 but that came of too Sci-Fi for disney so they opted for something more mysterious and more exciting. Disney also wanted to avoid anything that was similar to Independance Day. This information comes from a source who is believed to be an assistant writer of the National Treasure franchise.

i think that page 47 holds the secret of the lost army of cambyses. winch was an army of about 50,000 which was sent out by the Persian pharaoh to destroy the oracle at Siwa. But on there way the army got lost in a huge sand storm and was never seen again

This is the best movie yet for national treasure it would be really cool if they made National Treasure 3!

i think that ben gates and the president will go on an adventure for charlie the unicorn and pat his groin until he releases magical white treasures, until the president turns evil and begins taking them for himself and drowns in the white treasure as a door closes that is letting the treasure out, yay, can’t wait until the third one!!!!!!!!!!!!! or maybe he gets a jetpack and flies with agent 47 from hitman until they are shot down in russia and forced to eat their own feet until they are found by the S.A.S and he will bite his fingerprints off so he can’t be identified, and charlie the unicorn will still be releasing magic treasures of white glop.

Hahahha.. that’s a great theory there Pat! I highly doubt that the thought of the president turning against gates will be likely, and a unicorn? out of all types of treasure you think of that? I guess we all have our opinions, I honestly believe that Queen Victoria, who will be found out to have been a prostitute on the side, ( its true, read about it), will have had a child named Ben and it will turn out to be Ben Gates but he was adopted and he will come to realize he has aids from being born from his mother who also had it. Its a great theory, and once he figures this out, he will go on a mad rampage and begin eating babies of all sorts, and find the treasure after killing his whole family.
Nonetheless, Pat, your theory is very unlikely, and your treasure almost sounds like semen! That’s just me, but hey, we’ll see!

The quote from the movie says that page 47 is life altering. In 1947 Roswell occurred. My guess is that it has something to do with this.

Maybe “page 47″ goes into how to find access to heaven from earth… well no, that’s too Da Vinci code but i like the “fountain of youth” guess, that could be good. Or maybe it tells of how there is another more advanced human race on another planet and we have one of them. shit, who knows lol. I know I can’t wait for the third National Treasure movie to come out. I love this series movie series.
