The upcoming movie sequel to Ghost Rider is officially titled Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance. Nicolas Cage will reprise his role. Here’s the official plot synopsis:

Plot:
“Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Nicolas Cage), is hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil, who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the boy’s birthday.”

The film is touted as a kind of reboot: they won’t refer to the events of the first film. So even if the first opus didn’t win you over, there’s still a chance Ghost Rider 2 could.
