A brand new trailer of Macbeth, the upcoming drama History movie starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, has shown up online:

“Macbeth (Michael Fassbender), a duke of Scotland, receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife (Marion Cotillard), Macbeth murders his king and takes the throne for himself.”

It feels like Macbeth just got a Game of Thrones treatment! This new take on Shakespeare’s masterpiece looks awesome, doesn’t it?

The film will be released on December 4, 2015.
