Good Kill Movie Trailer

Thanks to Voltage Pictures here’s the first official trailer of Good Kill, the upcoming thriller movie written and directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Ethan Hawke:

GOOD KILL

If you never face your enemy how can you face yourself?

Plot:
“A fighter-pilot turned drone-pilot, based in Las Vegas, fights the Taliban by remote control for twelve hours a day, then goes home to the suburbs and feuds with his wife and kids for the other twelve. But the pilot is starting to question the mission. Is he creating more terrorists than he’s killing? Is he fighting a war without end? One soldier’s tale with epic implications.”

Some may think using drones raise ethical issues, but I doubt it really raises new issues: what’s the difference with dropping bombs from an airplane?

Anyway, I’ll give the film a try.

Besides Ethan Hawke, the cast also includes Bruce Greenwood, Jake Abel, January Jones, and Zoe Kravitz.

Still no official release date.

As anxious Pentagon officials observe the action via satellite feed, it is up to the President and his new side-kick to prove themselves and survive the most extraordinary 24 hours of their lives.”

DRAGON BLADE
Plot:
“Lost Roman soldiers navigate their way through China.”

Judging from the trailer it’s going to be epic. That said, with that headband John Cusack reminds me of Charlie Sheen playing a parody of Rambo in Hot Shot 2, and am not sure it’s a good thing…
