The early reviews of Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant are rather positive. Some even state that this is Nicolas Cage’s best role since a while. This new Bad Lieutenant movie is actually the remake of a 1990’s movie of the same name directed by Abel Ferrara. The latter is said to be quite pissed off by the remake. But from the trailer of Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant, I think the new movie will be way better!

Abel Ferrara who directed the original Bad Lieutenant movie in the 1990’s is badmouthing this new Bad Lieutenant movie. But judging from the material released so far, Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant is going to be a great movie on its own. And Nicolas Cage’s charisma really shines in this movie even if he’s playing the role of an antihero.
:)

This Bad Lieutenant movie looks awesome: it’s a well balanced mix of action and dark humor! And Nicolas Cage’s insane performance is definitely worth watching!
