The zebra is funny, but I’m pretty sure that penguins and lemurs will steal the show as usual.

The third installment in Dreamworks’s Madagascar movie franchise is officially titled Madagascar 3 Europe’s Most Wanted. Take a look to this teaser poster:

The release date of Madagascar 3 Europe’s Most Wanted is set for June 8, 2012.

The movie Madagascar 3 is likely to be released in 2012, it was announced by DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg:

“There is at least one more chapter. We ultimately want to see the characters make it back to New York.

Yes, we are making a Madagascar 3 now, and it will be out in the summer of 2012.”

If Madagascar 3 is released it’s almost sure that the movie will be in 3D, it couldn’t be otherwise.

More plot details of Madagascar 3 have since emerged online: according to the rumor, in Madagascar 3, the Madagascar team would have to join a European circus in order to get back under cover to their dear zoo in New York.

Well as long as those hilarious penguins show up again, I’m all for watching Madagascar 3 when it comes out!
