Plot synopsis
“An all-new family comedy about Monty (voiced by Skylar Astin), a talking monkey seeking to gain fame and fortune as a movie star, but instead finds what’s most important, a family.”

Feeling like you saw that cute little monkey somewhere before?

Well, Monty is actually the female capuchin monkey and animal actress Crystal the Monkey. She started acting early as a baby monkey in the 1997 film George of the Jungle. More recently, she played the role of the cheeky monkey Dexter in the Night at the Museum franchise, and a drug dealing monkey in The Hangover Part II.
