Let’s watch the first official trailer of Taken 3, the upcoming movie sequel directed by Olivier Megaton and starring Liam Neeson, Forest Whitaker, Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace, Dogray Scott, Sam Spruell, Leland Orser:

TAKEN 3
Plot:
“Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his ‘particular set of skills’, to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter (Maggie Grace).”

Oh my God! They killed his wife! Poor Bryan Mills… Well, at least we know the killers won’t live much longer: Bryan Mills is going to seek revenge and will deal with them!

There’s also a new poster:

TAKEN 3

That’s where it all ends!

Plot:
“The third installment in the Taken franchise will see retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) on the run after he is framed for murder.
The story takes place in Los Angeles, California.”

Am kind of sad that the franchise will soon be over… I totally dig Liam Neeson’s performance as Bryan Mills, a man with a particular set of skills. I wish they’d do more films, maybe with a new title though, LoL!

The film will hit theaters on January 9, 2015.

Taken 3 Movie TrailerYou thought Brian Mills and his family would be safe once and for all following Taken 2? Well, I guess dangerous people are still lurking around because it sounds like there’s going to be yet another installment in the Taken movie franchise. EuropaCorp, Luc Besson’s production company, is indeed pushing for a new sequel.

Liam Neeson previously said that he wasn’t interested in continuing the franchise… But according to the online rumor there’s a $20 million payday for him if he reprises his role as Brian Mills. I guess that’s an offer he can’t refuse. So, yep you can get ready for Taken 3!

Plot:
“Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), the former CIA agent with a particular set of skills, will once again have to fight to protect his dear family.”
