Thanks to MTV you may watch below a new full-length trailer of The Forest, the upcoming horror fantasy movie directed by Jason Zada and starring Natalie Dormer and Taylor Kinney:
Beneath Mount Fuji lies a place called the suicide forest, where thousands have gone to die…
Whatever you do stay on the path!
Plot: “A supernatural thriller set in the legendary Aokigahara Forest. A young American woman, Sara (Natalie Dormer), goes in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared. Despite everyone’s warnings to “stay on the path,” Sara enters the forest determined to discover the truth about her sister’s fate.”
The myth that there’s a special psychic link between twins is just that, a myth! Anyway, to get rid of those ghosts she should just take a chainsaw and cut the forest down one tree at a time.
The film will be released in theaters on January 8, 2016. :)
Here’s a first official look at Actor Andrew Garfield in Hacksaw Ridge, the upcoming biography drama movie directed by Mel Gibson:
(Click on the picture to enlarge.)
Plot: “WWII American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss (Andrew Garfield), who served during the Battle of Okinawa, refuses to kill people and becomes the first Conscientious Objector in American history to win the Congressional Medal of Honor.”
From Wikipedia we may learn more about Desmond Doss:
Drafted in April 1942, Desmond Doss refused to kill or carry a weapon into combat because of his personal beliefs as a Seventh-day Adventist. He consequently became a medic, and while serving in the Pacific theatre of World War II he helped his country by saving the lives of his comrades, at the same time adhering to his religious convictions.
And here’s an interesting video via youtube:
Desmond Doss, Medal of Honor, WWII Army medic Desmond Doss single-handedly brought 75 wounded troops to safety while under constant fire on Okinawa on May 5, 1945. President Truman awarded him the Medal of Honor on October 12, 1945.
Besides Andrew Garfield, the cast also includes Vince Vaughn, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, and Rachel Griffiths.
There’s no official release date yet, but the film should be released sometime in 2016. :)
The movie Hotel Transylvania 2 has been released in theaters and is performing quite well. So there’s no wonder that Sony Pictures Animation is planning another sequel. Unfortunately Director Genndy Tartakovsky who helmed the first two movies won’t return to direct Hotel Transylvania 3… he indeed said that he’d rather tackle a new project:
“Hotel Transylvania 3 is going to happen without me. Two is enough. I have a lot of other ideas, and I kind of have to express them and have them come out.”

I’ve just spotted this new preview clip of Bridge of Spies, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks:
Bridge of Spies – We don’t have a rule book here.
Plot: “A dramatic thriller set against the backdrop of a series of historic events, the film tells the story of James Donovan (Tom Hanks), a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot. Inspired by true events.”
Am all for respecting the rule book, well as long as others don’t flout the said rules…
Yet a new promo video for Crimson Peak, Crimson Peak, the latest Gothic horror movie written and directed by Guillermo del Toro:
Crimson Peak – Ghosts
Plot: ““In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds… and remembers.”
The Gothic corridor where ghosts manifest themselves sure looks scary! I can understand why Thomas would avoid this part of the house…
Take a look to the official poster of The Final Girls, the upcoming horror comedy movie starring Taissa Farmiga:

According to Mark Watney (played by Matt Damon) one can die from listening only disco music for an extended period of time in this new preview clip of The Martian:
The Martian – Disco music
Plot: “During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring the Martian home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible, rescue mission. As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to root for Watney’s safe return.”
Disco is evil I heard, so you better not listen to it anyway! lol!
The Martian movie will be released on October 2, 2015. :)
Two new vertigo-inducing posters for The Walk, the upcoming biography drama movie staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a high-wire artist who’s dying to cross the void between the World Trade Center towers:

Experience the impossible.
A true story!
Plot: “The Walk is the true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), and a band of unlikely recruits who together achieve the impossible: an illegal wire walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. With little more than nerve and blind ambition, Petit and his ragtag crew overcome daunting physical obstacles, betrayals, countless close calls and overwhelming odds to beat the system and execute their mad plan.”
What’s the point in attempting such a risky stunt?
