(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Plot synopsis:
“Nadine (Hailee Steinfeld) and Krista (Haley Lu Richardson) are inseparable best friends attempting to navigate high school together…until Nadine discovers her older brother and Krista have been secretly dating behind her back. They soon realize that there is a fine line between best friends and worst enemies.
The cast of the film is rounded out with Kyra Sedgwick, who plays Nadine’s well-meaning but completely ineffective mother, and Woody Harrelson, who plays Mr. Bruner, Nadine’s English teacher (and mentor) who is uncannily wise in the ways of girl-clashes.”

They’re both cute, aren’t they?

Besides Hailee Steinfeld, the cast also includes Haley Lu Richardson, Kyra Sedgwick, Woody Harrelson, Blake Jenner, Eric Keenleyside, Laine MacNeil, Katie Stuart, Nesta Cooper, Lina Renna, and Ava Grace Cooper.

Geostorm Film clapperboardGeostorm - Post-Production Picture

Plot synopsis:
“When catastrophic climate change endangers Earth’s very survival, world governments unite and create the Dutch Boy Program: a world wide net of satellites, surrounding the planet, that are armed with geoengineering technologies designed to stave off the natural disasters. Two estranged brothers are tasked with solving the program’s malfunction before a world wide Geostorm can engulf the planet. From the synopsis the movie Geostorm sounds like a combination of Armageddon and Olympus Has Fallen. Gerard Butler is a superhero who can single-handedly save the world and the U.S. president, lol!

Well, at least it promises to be entertaining.

I’ve spotted online a few pictures from the set of The Space Between Us (aka Out of This World), the upcoming romantic science-fiction movie directed by Peter Chelsom based on a script he co-wrote with Allan Loeb and starring Asa Butterfield, Britt Robertson, Gary Oldman, and Carla Gugino:

(Click on a picture to enlarge.)

Plot synopsis:
“A sixteen-year-old boy (Asa Butterfield) who grows up on Mars falls in love with a girl (Britt Robertson) on Earth, whom he has been communicating with, so he starts his journey to see her.”

Long distance relationships always fail. So the young man is right in wanting to get closer to the girl he loves, if only to quench his lustful thirst, lol!

The release date of the movie The Space Between Us is set to July 29, 2016.

Update – Thanks to STX Entertainment here’s an official extended plot synopsis:

Plot synopsis of The Space Between Us:
“In this interplanetary adventure, a space shuttle embarks on the first mission to colonize Mars, only to discover after takeoff that one of the astronauts is pregnant. Shortly after landing, she dies from complications while giving birth to the first human born on the red planet – never revealing who the father is.
Thus begins the extraordinary life of Gardner Elliot (Asa Butterfield) – an inquisitive, highly intelligent boy who reaches the age of 16 having only met 14 people in his very unconventional upbringing. While searching for clues about his father, and the home planet he’s never known, Gardner begins an online friendship with a street smart girl in Colorado named Tulsa (Britt Robertson).
When he finally gets a chance to go to Earth, he’s eager to experience all of the wonders he could only read about on Mars – from the most simple to the extraordinary. But once his explorations begin, scientists discover that Gardner’s organs can’t withstand Earth’s atmosphere.
Eager to find his father, Gardner escapes the team of scientists and joins with Tulsa on a race against time to unravel the mysteries of how he came to be, and where he belongs in the universe.”

Here’s a first official look at James Franco in The Adderall Diaries, the upcoming crime-thriller movie written and directed by Pamela Romanowsky based on the book of the same name by Stephen Elliott:

(Click on a picture to enlarge.)

Plot synopsis:
“Writer and Adderall enthusiast Stephen Elliott reaches a low point when his estranged father resurfaces, claiming that Stephen has fabricated much of the dark childhood that that fuels his writing. Adrift in the precarious gray area of memory, Stephen is led by three sources of inspiration: a new romance, the best friend who shares his history, and a murder trial that reminds him more than a little of his own story.”

Amber heard is really cute on that picture, but James Franco looks like a famish toad…

Anyway, for those who don’t know what Adderall is, here’s a description from Wikipedia:

Adderall is prescribed in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance and cognitive enhancer, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant.

Besides James Franco, the film is also starring Amber Heard, Ed Harris, Christian Slater, Cynthia Nixon.

The film has yet to get an official release date.

Well, Actor Benedict Cumberbatch totally looks the part as Doctor Strange! Let’s hope he will stick to this Marvel character and will never reprise the role of Khan in the Star Trek franchise, lol.

We also learned that Actor Mads Mikkelsen is playing the film’s villain who’s described as a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect.
