Warner Bros has unveiled the official logo of “The Lego Movie” (yep, that’s the official title!, at least for now…), their upcoming 3D computer adventure animated movie set in the bricky world of Lego:
“The LEGO Movie tells the story of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO mini-figure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person (the master builder!) and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously under-prepared.”
At first I thought it was a logo for some Tetris movie… The word Lego is bright and colorful… Well, let’s hope the next version will look better!
The film is directed by Phil lord and Chris Miller (who previously team up for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street). The voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, and Morgan Freeman.
The release date of The Lego Movie is set for February 7, 2014.
