It’s been announced, via Variety, that Director David Hackl (who started off as a production designer for Saw 2, Saw 3 and Saw 4, before directing Saw 5) will return for Saw 7.
Not real clue why Lionsgate isn’t keeping Kevin Greutert (who’s directing Saw 6). But David Hackl did bring us a hit with Saw 5. So I won’t comlain about him coming back to helm the movie Saw 7.
By the way, Saw VII will start production in January 2010 for a release in October 2010.

I just love the movie. I have watched all the series and still want a new version. The control of director over the movie is awesom and every one working in the movie have done a great job.
